Project Management
ISD differentiates itself from and surpasses the competition with our focus and commitment to turnkey project management. An experienced team composed of a national account executive, project manager and customer service representative are dedicated to each account. This approach not only ensures that a knowledgeable resource is readily available to our clients, but also builds a relationship based on trust, account familiarity and project specifications. The following elements compose our project management program and services:
Personnel:
3-National Account Executives with over 30 years combined sign sales and executive sign program experience.
8-Project Managers with over 45 years combined experience. Each project manager has administered national sign programs and custom sign projects a minimum of 4 years.
Philosophy:
Relevant and timely communication with our clients is the key to maintaining a successful sign program. Our real time, online tracking system allows for a secured interactive exchange of information. We realize that in the sign and construction industries the site conditions and situations change rapidly and we respond promptly and efficiently to inform the client and resolve the issue.
Standard Program Management:
-Site evaluation - Once a new location has been identified, the ISD team begins the site evaluation. Building surveys or architectural plan reviews are conducted, in depth code checks are performed, landlords/owners, architects and general contractors are all contacted to gather the necessary information. A thorough evaluation is performed allowing our clients to focus on other necessary issues.
-Contract/Proposal - Following site evaluation, drawings and a proposal are prepared and forwarded to the client for review and approval.
-Owner Approvals/Engineering - All proposed signs are sent to the landlord or owners for written approval and then to the local engineers for certification as required for permits.
-Permitting - Securing the necessary documents for permitting signage within the respective city or county municipality can be time consuming. We are well versed in this aspect and strive to balance the client's needs with the local regulations. We often appear before permit and zoning boards or similar to present our case and seek approval when circumstances warrant.
-Site Contact/Monitoring - The project management team continually evaluates the construction of the site with weekly and/or daily follow up with the general contractor on the sign areas.
-Installation - Sign installation is scheduled in accordance with customer request and the general contractor’s building schedule. Site delays are addressed proactively to ensure items like paving, equipment or other obstructions don't hinder a smooth installation. Signs are then tested prior to leaving the site.
-Finals/Punch/Service - Signs are photographed and finaled/punched. Warranty and Service issues are handled within a 72 hour time frame by our service department. ISD’s in house nationwide service program ensures your signs continue to be maintained for the quality image our customers expect.
