Largo, FL--October 28, 2005—International Sign and Design Corporation has purchased a new facility in Monroeville, AL. The new 30,000 square foot building will be fully operational for fabrication, installation and service in the next few months. Some existing experienced ISD personnel in project management, production management, as well as, installation and service management will be relocating to operate this facility.
The new location offers existing and future customers uninterrupted service and continued standard lead times to the gulf coast states of LA, MS, AL and the Panhandle of Florida. According to Bryan Vaughn, Vice President of Sales/Service with ISD, “The devastation of these areas will cause a significant labor issue for our industry and it is our way of not only giving back to the area, but seeing that our customers continue to receive the same service and turn times they expect from us. The facility offers us additional manufacturing space for the added volume, as well as a second facility to utilize in the event a disaster plan was needed at our Florida corporate office. The timing was perfect and the State of Alabama and the City of Monroeville were extremely helpful and excited to welcome us to the area.”
International Sign & Design Corporation has also opened an affiliated company that will operate out of the Largo, FL and Monroeville, AL facilities. International Linear Matrix is a manufacturer of state of the art flat panel illuminated media systems geared toward the high end POP and POS display industry. ILM has exclusive North and South American rights to manufacture and distribute this newly US patented and UL listed product. The light box features thin profile ADA compliant frames, low maintenance lighting that can be serviced by the end user (no electrician or service calls are needed,) quick turnaround times on large quantities, one person graphic change, vandal resistance, and competitive pricing.
